Education in Panama

There are two options for studies in Panama: privite and public schools. The first one has very good education but is very expensive. The second one has good education and it is very cheap. Kids start studying at the age of the 3, going to special takecares. Then there is Prekindergarden and Kindergarden for kids of the age of 4 and 5 respectively. Elementary school last 6 years of study and kids goes when they are 6 years old. Kids should end elementary school by the age of 12. After that, continues high school which last 5 years . Teenagers should finish by the age of 17. In private schools, english is taught as second language. In other schools languages as german, french or chinesse are taught besides english.

Once students finish high school they have two options for further studies: go to the university or to an institute. For the first option, as well as school, has private and public universities. In private universities student can go to other countries for a semester as an exchange experience. Universities last in avarage 5 years. While the institues last between 2 and 3 years.

In conclusion the education in Panama is similar to ours in Colombia, since they go to school and then to university or an institute.

Panama´s transportation

The international transportation in Panama is excellent since that is the place where most of the transportation ways come. Inside the country it is possible to travel by the Panamercan Road, which goes from Panama city to Costa Rica´s buonderies. The speed limit is 90k/h but there are some places where the speed must be reduced. Also there are othere ways of transportation like taxis, buses and ships. Futhermore, there is an alternative method of transportation which is very cheap and it is offered to turists . It is called "moto taxi".

On one hand the taxi service is based on areas prices. Normally the price is between $1.50 and $2.50 in near areas. On the other hand the bus service is even cheaper than the taxi service.

Panama transportation system is well organized and there are many alternative for the different kind of turist.

MYTHS AND LEGENDS

PANAMA

The Embera indigenous community - Wounaan lives in Panama, retaining all the customs and wisdom of their ancestors. It´s origin, which dates back to the top of Creation, is shared by the "Carib" and the "Choco".

COLOMBIA

The Chibcha or Muiscas are a people belonging to the Amerindian language family chibcha that inhabited the banks of the Magdalena River, near Bogota, Colombia. In the past occupied part of the current Panama and the highlands of the eastern cordillera of Colombia.

ROGELIO REYTER AND FONSECA

The person who is in the picture of the left, is Rogelio Reyter and Fonseca is in the picture from de right.

While Rogelio is Panama´s, Fonseca is Colombian. Both Rogelio and Fonseca are young and have got courly hair. Neither have soons. While Fonseca is a young singer Rogelio is a old singer.

PHYSICAL APPEREANCE

Rogelio is tall and fat while Fonseca is slim and tall. Rogelio has got grey, he has got mustache and beard, also he has got black skin, while Fonseca doesn´t have it. Fonseca has got a black hair and Rogelio has got grey hair. Both has curly hair and big eyes and they are very happy people and friendly.

ABOUT THE LIFE

Rogelio Reyter was born 29 Marh of 1958 in Panama city while Fonseca was born in Bogota city . He has fifty years old and he studied music at Panama University and Fonseca has twenty six years old. When he was boy he began to sing, when he ws twelve years old he compused his first song. He music style is ´tropical, and he likes take to pictures and travel all the wold. He is single.

Rogelio was teacher but then he travel to Cuba for work with Sara Gonzalez, she is a singer very important in Cuba because she write jazz music. Rogelio traveled to United States and begin to sing jazz in all country. In the 2005 year he was to organicer during three years.

Both singers are singles. Rogelio and Fonseca are two people famous Latinos, in this context and in each country.

Panama

This de Panama Country. Is a beautiful place for visit and make bussiness. Also is a hot country. It`s a country very attractive for it beaches are good for relax and people are very friendly. The way that people dress up is caribbean (for eg. shorts, t-shirts, sandals).

The typical food are: sea food, bannana split, "patacon". But also there are influence from other regions of the world, like chinese food, spanish food.

On the other hand, in Bogota people are more insecure and less happiness. While, Panama people are more coffidence and more friendly.

Panama city is smaller than Bogota. Panama have an important canal, and Bogota have a lot of bridges.

Both places have the spanish as the native language, and both are capital cities of them countries.

Both cities are places important for te businness and the commerce.
